Amirabdollahian held discussions with Abdul-Salam in Muscat on Sunday.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, the foreign minister arrived in Muscat earlier in the day for talks with senior Omani officials about matters concerning bilateral relations, trade, and regional developments.
Amirabdollahian praised Yemen for supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, calling it a manifestation of Islamic honor and human dignity.
He also expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by the Yemenis towards the Islamic Republic after the Israeli regime targeted Iran's diplomatic mission in Syria in a terrorist attack on Monday, killing a number of Iranian military advisors.
The foreign minister promised that the Islamic Republic will pursue the matter through legal channels and punish the perpetrators "within the framework of international law."
Furthermore, Amirabdollahian censured the US, France and Britain for blocking a condemnation of the Israeli regime at the UN Security Council for attacking Iran's consulate in Damascus.
That was a clear sign of their political hypocrisy and overt support for the Israeli crimes and military adventurism, he added.
At the meeting, the Yemeni official also declared the solidarity of his country for the Islamic Republic in the face of Israeli aggression.
Abdul-Salam also added that Yemen's support for the Palestinian people is based on "Islamic, moral, and humanitarian" obligations.
"If the Zionist regime emerges victorious in this war, there will be nothing left of Arab and Islamic national security, as well as security in the Red Sea," he noted.
